Bronzers should give the appearance of glowing, healthy, sun-kissed skin and nothing more and this one does! An ultra sheer, glowing, cream bronzer without the orange, without the pink and without the grey giving just the right amount of warm, sun-kissed skin.
I had been wanting to try a cream bronzer for a while before I bought this one by RMS. I’d seen it a few times online and I love how the RMS products come in small glass collectable looking pots so honestly, I couldn’t resist adding to my make-up collection. I’m definitely more of a powder bronzer person as I know powders have longer staying power. But for a subtle day time glow and bronze I wanted to try this guy.
The texture of this product is just completely smooth. It has quite a pigmented colour pay off when first applied to the skin and as the texture is smooth it is very easy to blend. I have found that it can look smudgy if not blended in properly and I’m not yet a master at blending in with my fingers.
As my skin is very pale, I find a very sheer amount is what suits me best. If I apply too much it can look dirty. I think that this isn’t the best tone of colour for my pale skin and would suit someone who has tan skin. For me, I prefer adding this over a powder bronzer for more of a glow rather than the colour. This also helps it to last longer. I do, however, like this dotted onto the eyes for some eye lid colour. But, because it’s so creamy and oily, it does not set onto the lid and leaves a line of product in the crease.
I would say this is a nice product for very easy no-make up make-up days. It’s easy to apply and looks natural when blended properly. I don’t find this is the best for longevity but it does have good colour pigmentation. I think I just need more practise when using this guy. Any tips and advise would be greatly appreciated!
